Engine/Motor details
A 624 cc rear-mounted petrol engine that can produce a maximum torque of 51 Nm and 38 PS powers the Nano. The boot has a 94-litre capacity and the transmission has a 5-speed ratio.
23 horsepower and 85 Nm of torque are produced by the Nano EV Vehicle’s electric powertrain. It has a top speed of 110 km/h and a range of up to 160 kilometres on a single charge. The car is expected to include fast charging, which will allow 80% of the battery to be charged in an hour. In comparison to other EVs on the market, it is projected that the car’s price will be fairly reasonable.
Features
The Tata Nano has features like central locking, rear seat belts, child locks, etc. it is not equipped with an airbag, not even as an optional feature.
Features of the Tata Nano EV are not known yet, but we expect Tata to pack it with most of the modern features.
Expected price in India
The Tata Nano, which retails for between Rs. 2.23 and 3.20 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), is the most reasonably priced vehicle on the Indian market.
Tata Motors has been developing an electric Nano for some time, but the business hasn’t yet announced a release date. It is believed that the car will cost roughly Rs. 5 Lakh.
