Tata Nexon EV: On May 11, 2022, the Tata Nexon EV Max was introduced in India. A 40.5kWh battery pack that generates 141 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque powers the Tata Nexon EV Max. On a single charge, the vehicle is said to have a 437km range that has been verified by ARAI. It also boasts a sprint time of fewer than nine seconds from 0 to 100 kph, with a top speed of 140 kph. A 7.2kW fast charger is also available, which can charge the battery from empty to full in 6.5 hours.

Projector headlamps with LED DRLs, a thick single-slat grille, fog lights, light blue accents throughout the body, silver-coloured skid plates, 16-inch alloy wheels, black ORVMs, EV badging at the front and rear, Nexon lettering on the boot lid, LED tail lights, and a dual-tone paint job are all standard on the Tata Nexon EV Max’s exterior.
The Tata Nexon EV Max has several different modes, multiple drive modes (Eco, City, and Sport), a wireless charger, auto-dimming mirrors, an electric parking brake with auto-hold functionality, an illuminated gear dial on the centre console, TPMS, cruise control, an air purifier, an electric sunroof, rear AC vents, ventilated front seats, and a touchscreen infotainment system from Harman.
The Tata Nexon EV Max has dual airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP with i-VBAC, hill hold control, hill descent control, and disc brakes on all four wheels in terms of safety features. GNCAP has not evaluated the model.
Tata Nexon EV Prime’s price ranges from Rs. 14.99 Lakh to Rs. 17.50 Lakh. Tata Nexon EV Prime is available in 6 variations; the entry-level model is the XM, and the most expensive model is the XZ Plus Lux Jet Edition, which costs Rs. 17.50 lakh.

Pros
- Improved range – Tata claims 330km, which is significantly higher than the standard car
- Faster charging – The Nexon EV Max charges from 0-80 per cent in less than an hour
- Cheap running costs – Due to the relatively lower electricity costs/adequate range
- Good performance – It feels more powerful/has faster response times than the Prime
- Upgraded feature list – It’s undeniably loaded with more tech than the regular version
Cons
- Gear shifter – It feels fidgety, especially when one tries to shift in a hurry
- Pricey – The top-of-the-line variant of the Nexon EV max is substantially expensive
- Scattered charging infrastructure – Charging stations are still hard to come by
