Tata Punch EV: Tata Motors is all set to launch the much-awaited Punch EV in the Indian market on January 17. The Punch EV is going to be the first vehicle in the automaker’s portfolio to be based on Tata’s new architecture. Ahead of the official launch on January 17, the Punch EV has started arriving at dealerships of the carmaker. The bookings for the Punch EV are open and interested customers can book their unit with a token money of Rs 21000.
Tata Punch EV Battery Pack and Variants
The Punch EV will arrive in two battery pack options- Medium Range and Long Range. The Medium Range options will be available in a total of 5 variants- Empowered+, Empowered, Adventure, Smart+ and Smart. On the other hand, the Long-range variant will be available in 3 variants- Empowered+, Empowered and Adventure. Apart from this, the EV will get a sunroof and non-sunroof variant to choose from. The EV will be available in two charger options, one of which is a 7.2 kW fast home charger and another option is a 3.3 kW wall box charger.
Tata Punch EV Features
In terms of features, the Electric hatchback will feature multi-mode regen, LED headlamps, an Electronic Stability Program, 6 airbags and smart digital Daytime Running Lamps. The Adventure variant of the EV hatchback will also come with cruise control and fog lamps with a cornering function. The EV will get a 7-inch infotainment display with Apple Car Play and Android Auto Play. In addition to this, the long-range variants will come with a jewelled control knob and electronic parking brake with an auto hold feature.
