Toyota Innova Crysta 2023: Toyota (Toyota) reintroduced its Innova Crysta MPV earlier this year. Since the MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) model was first introduced in 2016, the automaker has sold over four lakh units of the vehicle. Toyota defied the trend by selling two MPVs with the introduction of the Innova HyCross and the relaunch of the Innova Crysta. Media reports state that the corporation has planned to keep producing the Toyota Innova Crysta till 2025. There is just a 2.4-liter diesel version of the Innova Crysta currently on the market. The car has a 5-speed manual transmission. The MPV has two different seating arrangements.
Toyota Innova Crysta 2023: The MPV is in demand
Toyota had originally intended to stop making the Innova Crysta. However, the manufacturer has been forced to prolong production to the end of March 2024 due to a lack of semiconductors for the new Innova Highcross.Sources claim that the Toyota Innova Crysta is still in great demand, with a significant portion coming from fleet owners and private purchasers. Toyota is now able to produce the automobile for an additional year.
The company is increasing the production
At its Bidadi-based plant, Toyota has begun the third shift in order to increase production of the Innova version. The Innova HyCross, which was introduced in November, is very well-liked by the public. Because it was unable to meet the increased demand, the automaker was obliged to halt reservations for the ZX and ZX(O) models.
Bookings has been suspended temporarily
Toyota issued a statement saying, “We deeply regret to announce the temporary suspension of bookings for the top end grades of Innova Highcross, i.e. ZX and ZX (O) with effect from 8th April 2023, due to the ongoing supply challenges.” Bookings for other Innova Highcross grades, both petrol and hybrid, will still be accepted. We are making every effort to reopen reservations for these Innova Highcross variations as soon as possible.
In order to fulfil the rising demand for the Innova, Toyota expects that increasing production might enable it to attain a capacity of more than 3.20 lakh units in the current fiscal year.
