Toyota Innova Zenix: The Innova Hycross MPV was introduced by Toyota as the Innova Zenix in Malaysia, with prices starting at RM 165,000 (Rs 28.96 lakh). Similar to the variant marketed here, Malaysian buyers of the Hycross have a choice between robust hybrid and naturally aspirated petrol engines. The manufacturer sells the petrol model in Malaysia in a single fully loaded trim for both versions, whereas it is only available in the lower-end variants here.

Toyota Innova Zenix details
The 18-inch alloy wheels, LED lighting, and honeycomb pattern for the grille are all shared by the Indian and Malaysian versions of the Innova Zenix, which all share the same design language throughout. However, it receives a cabin design that is all black, as we anticipate the next Maruti Invicto to do.
While the hybrid version is only offered in the 7-seater arrangement, the Toyota MPV built to Malaysian specifications is available in an 8-seater configuration.
Powertrain details
In the engine compartment, nothing has changed. There are two different 2-litre powerful hybrid and petrol engines available for the Innova Zenix, each rated at 186 PS and 174 PS, respectively, and mated to a CVT or e-CVT.
Features onboard
Innovas built to Malaysian specifications are available from Toyota with a 10-inch touchscreen, an 8-way powered driver seat, a panoramic sunroof (available on hybrid models only), a 7-inch digital driver’s display, and paddle shifters.
Advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS), a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, and six airbags are all included in the safety kit. The ADAS suite includes lane departure assistance, adaptive cruise control, and forward collision warning.
