Triumph Speed 400: For the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X in India, Triumph Motorcycles has raised the minimum deposit requirement. The revised booking amount has increased from Rs 2,000 to Rs 10,000. The 400 siblings, which Triumph co-developed with Bajaj, are the company’s most widely available models. The Speed 400 has been formally introduced in India and is available for booking at a price of Rs 2.33 lakh (ex-showroom). Before, the first 10,000 reservations could purchase it at an introductory price of Rs. 2.23 lakh (ex-showroom). In October of this year, the Scrambler 400X is anticipated to debut.

The Triumph Speed 400 is powered by a brand-new 398.15cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that generates 40 PS at 8000 rpm and 37.5 Nm at 6500 rpm. It is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. A massive 16,000km servicing interval is provided.
Features onboard
All-LED lighting, bar-end mirrors, switchable traction control, and Bosch dual-channel ABS are included on the Triumph Speed 400. While lacking smartphone connectivity or GPS, the semi-digital instrument cluster is still very information-rich, equipped with a gear position indication, distance to empty reading, and warning lights. For charging the electrical items installed on the handlebars, there is even a USB-C socket. Triumph includes options for heated grips, indicators, and luggage in its accessories catalogue. Each of these features comes with a two-year, unlimited mileage warranty.
