Triumph Speed 400: In partnership with Bajaj Auto, Triumph India recently debuted the Speed 400′>Speed 400. It has the smallest engine capacity of all the British brand’s motorcycles and is also its most cheap model. Additionally, for the first 10,000 buyers, the Triumph Speed 400 was offered for an introductory price of Rs. 2.23 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), which was thereafter increased by Rs. 10000. Following are some facts regarding the Speed 400 that you should be aware of if you intend to purchase one.

Know about the engine and powertrain

A 398.15cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that produces 39.5bhp and 37.5Nm powers the Speed 400. It has a short stroke and rapid revs, and it is connected to a six-speed gearbox. The engine of the Speed 400 has strong low- and midrange torque. The Speed 400 achieved 29.88 kmpl in the BikeWale fuel-efficiency test. With a 13-liter fuel tank, you may anticipate the bike to have a 390km range. However, this could change based on the terrain and your riding style.

Designing and colour variants

Three alternative paint jobs are available on the Triumph Speed 400: Carnival Red with Phantom Black, Caspian Blue with Storm Grey and Phantom Black with Storm Grey. The entire craftsmanship is remarkable, and the paint finishing feels upscale. All of the selections are dual-tone, as their names would imply. The fuel tank is therefore painted in the aforementioned hues with a grey stripe between them.

Triumph Speed 400: Hardware
