Yamaha XSR125: At the well-known Osaka Motorcycle Show, a baby neo-retro outfitted with a cafe racer kit was shown for the attendees’ perusal.
The Osaka Motorcycle Show in Japan is the place to go if you want to see some extremely rare and one-of-a-kind motorcycles. And this year, Yamaha displayed a custom-built XSR125 with a cafe racer kit, and it’s one machine that has an appearance that makes us wish we could get it here.

Yamaha has not made significant strides toward achieving the look of a neo-retro cafe racer
It sports a straightforward retro-style bikini fairing that sits over the headlamp, as well as a single seat that is scooped up and positioned so that the tail portion replicates the teardrop-shaped cowl of a cafe racer. A bash plate and an aluminium crankcase cover are two of the extra finishing touches that are included.
In the end, it looks to be given a sporty paint job in red and black, but other than that, the bike appears to have been substantially unaltered. It has the same 125cc single-cylinder engine that produces 14.9PS and 11.5Nm of torque, and it comes with a transmission that has six different speeds. As a point of reference, the KTM 125 Duke produces 14.5 horsepower and 12 Newton-meters of torque.
There has been no official notification
The bespoke cafe racer kit may or may not go on sale in the country, but there has been no official notification regarding either possibility. However, we are sorry to inform you that neither the XSR125 nor the XSR155 will be making their way to India in the near future. In spite of this, the modernized version of Yamaha’s FZ-X should be on your radar if you’re in the market for a neo-retro motorcycle in India. In point of fact, it was upgraded not too long ago with a number of significant upgrades.
