2023 Hyundai Stargazer X: Know about the engine

The engine in Stargazer X is the same as in the normal version. It is driven by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated Smartstream engine that produces 115 PS and 144 Nm of peak torque. It is coupled to an IVT gearbox. The power is routed to the front wheels.

In Indonesia, the Hyundai Stargazer X will be available in two models. The Style variation costs approximately INR 17.67 lakh. The Prime model costs Rp 336.2 million (about INR 18.25 lakh).

The Stargazer X boasts a more aggressive stance and a sportier front design. The silver highlights on the grille are really noticeable. It fundamentally contributes to the look and feel of a chequered flag. The majority of the other aspects on the front are the same as before. Stargazer’s headlamp and fog lamp housing are triangular in design. The thick glass gives the MPV a tough appearance. Another distinguishing element is the large bumper, which ensures a strong street presence. A full-width LED strip along the hood.

Statement about this upgraded variant

Hyundai stated in a news release that the Stargazer will be built specifically for the Indonesian market. According to Korean media, the Hyundai Stargazer will also be available in India. However, there has been no official confirmation from Hyundai Engines in this regard. After it is released, the Stargazer will compete with MPVs such as the Suzuki Ertiga, XL6, Kia Carens, and Renault Triber. The cabin of the base Stargazer model has fabric seats, while the two highest trims have leatherette seats. The inside is highly modern, with the instrument panel protected by a strong plastic board that also houses the infotainment system.
