2023 Tata Safari facelift: Within the next six months, Tata Motors is expected to introduce six stunning SUV models. The eagerly awaited new Safari makeover, which is slated to be on the Indian market later this year, is one of these thrilling releases. Recently, there have been numerous reports of sightings of the revised Safari, and now we have clear pictures of the interior of the SUV’s premium model, revealing a wealth of intriguing elements.

What will be the major upgades?

According to reports, the SUV’s dashboard has undergone a substantial makeover. It now boasts a big free-standing touchscreen entertainment system, an all-digital instrument cluster, a new four-spoke steering wheel with an integrated display, and a revitalising new colour scheme. Moving over to the centre console, it can be observed that it has two knobs for the HVAC settings and full-touch capacitive buttons, which is similar to the layout of a recently released patent. In addition, a new gear knob with a drive-mode selector rotary dial on the front was designed in the style of a Land Rover.

Regarding features, the new Safari facelift is anticipated to include a plethora of cutting-edge features, such as automatic dual-zone climate control, cruise control, an automatic day/night interior rearview mirror, a 360-degree surround camera, Level 2 ADAS technology, and ambient lighting with multiple colours. Popular features including the motorised driver seat, panoramic sunroof, wireless charger, keyless entry, electronic parking brake with auto hold, and start/stop button will all be carried over from the outgoing model.

Know about the engine

The 2.0-liter Kryotec diesel engine is likely to remain dependable and power the forthcoming Safari facelift together with a six-speed manual and automatic gearbox. To meet the new BS6 Phase 2 pollution requirements, this engine has been upgraded. Additionally, there are hints that Tata Motors may release the new 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine that was on display at the January 2023 Auto Expo.
