Piaggio is now a 25 years old leading company
In India, Piaggio is commemorating 25 years of operation. The business released a number of new updates—from product upgrades to the newest offerings—to commemorate the occasion. The 125 cc Aprilia Typhoon is expected to debut as early as March of this year. Although the company sells the Aprilia Typhoon 125 all over the world, the India-specific model is thought to receive improvements in terms of styling, features, and hardware. On the Aprilia Typhoon 125, the scooter is anticipated to receive features like an LED headlamp, a digital console, combi braking, and more. The model will also receive the upgraded i-get Euro5 engine that comes with OBD 2 compliance. Moreover, Piaggio will be updating its entire scooter range to the i-get Euro5 engine with OBD 2 compliance ahead of the April 1 deadline. The upcoming motor is also likely to bring improvements in performance with better acceleration, lower emissions and more.
Aprilia SR 125 Scooty: Price and variants
The Aprilia SR 125 currently costs Rs. 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom), and it is anticipated that the updated model will cost slightly more due to the upgrades. The upcoming Typhoon 125 might have a price below Rs. 1.10 lakh when it is released.
Upcoming vehicles from the company
The Aprilia brand will expand into the entry-performance motorcycle market in India in 2023 in addition to scooters. The upcoming motorcycle is anticipated to be called the RS440 and will compete in the segment against the BMW G 310 RR, KTM RC 390, and Kawasaki Ninja 300, as Piaggio previously announced. Piaggio is anticipated to make additional announcements in the upcoming weeks.
