Aston Martin DB12 Car: The new DB12 flagship from Aston Martin has been revealed. It marks 110 years of Aston Martin and 75 years of the DB model lineup as it replaces the DB11 in the lineup. The DB12 is being marketed by the Gaydon-based automaker as the first “super tourer” in history.
Know about the upgrades from the previous one
The DB12 resembles a more sumptuous DB11 in terms of modern Aston Martin appearances. Like the Valhalla, it sports a sizable grille up front. The back, meanwhile, resembles its predecessor rather closely. It has a 6mm front track increase and a 22mm rear track increase over the DB11, and it comes standard with 21-inch wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport 5 S rubber. It is also painted a stunning shade of British Racing Green.
Engine and powertrain
A 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 with close to 680 horsepower and a record-breaking 800 Nm is housed under the long hood. As a result, these figures are 34% higher than those of the previous DB11. With this, a 0-100kmph time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 325kmph are made possible.

The cabin, on the other hand, has undergone a substantial change. With a digital driver’s display and a 10.25-inch integrated touchscreen in the centre console, it is more contemporary. It also has a Bowers and Wilkins sound system, built-in navigation, and a tonne of connection and driver-assist software.

A new power steering system, an electronic rear differential, quicker electronic stability control, and better cooling provided by an extra radiator are all added to the DB12. According to Aston Martin, the DB12 has cast-iron 400mm front and 360mm rear discs, making it the best-handling DB ever. Deliveries of the DB12 Aston Martin DB11 Right Rear Three Quarter will start in the third quarter of 2023. As soon as sales start in other countries, it will also be available in India.
