Honda unveiled the new NX500 and CBR500R at the EICMA 2023 held in Milan. Honda was seen talking about the 400cc variant of the NX500 which is currently available in Japan as the NX400. The crossover 400X, which has been available for purchase since 2013, has been replaced by the NX400. Apart from this, the CBR400R motorcycle has received upgrades for 2024.
2024 Honda NX400 and CBR400R – Feature Details
The 2024 NX400 is claimed as a cutting-edge street adventure motorcycle by Honda. Despite being a 400X derivative, the bike comes with a revised equipment list and a new look. The newly added features for the NX400 and CBR400R include a 5-inch full-colour TFT display and Honda Selectable Torque Control. Users can even connect their smartphone to the Honda RoadSync app via Bluetooth to access turn-by-turn navigation, music, messages and calls.
The 2024 CBR400R features a redesigned headlamp, taillight, and headlamp cowl. The middle cowls have openings and winglets on the new ducts. These design elements contribute to the bike’s sporty appearance.
On the other hand, the new 2024 CBR400R is available in Grand Prix Red and Matte Ballistic Black Metallic as colour options. Metallic Black and Pearl Glare White are the NX400’s colour options.
Honda NX400 and CBR400R Engine and Performance
Honda NX400 and CBR400R come powered by a 399cc water-cooled DOHC, 4-valve parallel 2-cylinder engine paired with a 6 six-speed transmission. This powerhouse generates a maximum power of 46 ps and a peak torque of 38 Nm.
