2024 Renault Duster: Renault has officially revealed the 2024 iteration of its popular SUV, Duster. The automaker has also confirmed that the 2024 Duster will make its Indian debut by the end of this year. Talking about the design, the SUV looks similar to the Dacia Duster. However, the carmaker has made a few changes like logo adjustments and brandings that make it look different. The company has not announced any information regarding the powertrain options of the Indian version of the SUV. Globally, the 2024 Duster is available in three engine options.
2024 Renault Duster: Engine Options
The globally unveiled model of the 2024 Duster comes with a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine which comes paired with a 48V electric motor. The electric motor supplements the engine during combustion and initial acceleration which leads to less fuel consumption. The SUV also comes with a regenerative braking system which charges the 0.8 kWh battery. The 2024 Duster will come in 6-speed transmission in RWD and AWD options.
The SUV also comes with an LPG option which can also run on petrol, the tanks for both fuels are segregated inside the SUV, both having 50 litres of capacity. Drivers will be able to switch between these fuels with a button placed on the SUV’s dashboard. However, the LPG option is not expected to make India’s debut.
2024 Renault Duster: CMF-B Platform
The 2024 Duster comes based on CMF-B which is also used in other global offerings of Renault such as the Logan, Sandero and Jogger. The CMF-B platform adds space for the passengers and luggage, while it has also helped the brand with the electrification of its products.
