Anand Mahindra: Created and manufactured for the Indian armed services by Mahindra Defence Systems (MDS), the Mahindra Armado is the country’s first Armoured Light Specialist Vehicle (ALSV). It features a 3.2-litre Steyr engine, cutting-edge communication technologies, and a bulletproof cabin. The Armado can accommodate up to eight passengers, including the driver, and can carry an extra 400 kg in addition to its usual 1,000 kg load capacity. Anti-tank-guided missiles, machine guns, automatic grenade launchers, and grenade launchers are among its optional features. Anand Mahindra has shared some very good advice that people must follow if they see this beast on the road.

The Armado was designed and developed in India, and its first deliveries began in June 2012. Specifications-wise, the Armado receives all-around protection and a high degree of ballistic protection up to the B7, Stanag Level II. Armoured Light Specialist Vehicles (ALSVs) are vital pieces of equipment with a variety of uses.
The Armado can carry 1,000 kg of cargo and reaches a top speed of 120 kph. Even with a flat tyre or tyres that are 318/80-R17, the car can still travel 50 km.
A filter system for usage in harsh environments and a self-cleaning exhaust are two other highlights.
In terms of power, the Armado boasts a 3.2-litre direct-injection turbocharged diesel powertrain that is multifuel capable. With 215 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, there is a significant amount of power available. Naturally, it features an automated 4-speed transmission and power is distributed to all four wheels.
