Ather Rizta: On April 6, 2024, Ather Energy will present the new Rizta electric scooter. This family-friendly e-scooter has already been the subject of several jokes and has even been seen in testing. It is stated to have the largest seat of any ICE or EV scooter on the market. Having said that, the business recently declared that the Rizta will be featured on its Ather Community Day in 2024. In this article, we will tell you all we know about the upcoming electric scooter.
Ather Rizta: All we know
Design details
The Rizta, which was previously spotted in test camouflage, seems bigger than the more sleek and small 450 series e-scooters. Its front end has thinner, horizontal lighting instead of the 450 versions’ vertically stacked headlights. The scooter has a front disc brake, 12-inch alloy wheels, a telescopic fork, a flat floorboard, a hefty grab rail for the pillion, integrated footrests and a horizontal LED taillight. It is also equipped with a protective cover for the final drive. It should also provide more under-seat storage than the 450’s 22-litre capacity.
Expected Features onboard
Like the 450X or 450S, the Rizta electric scooter is probably going to include an all-digital display. Other features that might be included are ride modes, Bluetooth connectivity, telescoping front forks, emergency stop signal (ESS), telescopic front illumination, and fall-safe technology.
Expected powertrain details
Currently, depending on the model, the brand offers two battery pack options for the 450 lineup: 2.9kWh and 3.7kWh. In comparison to the current Ather scooters, the new Rizta electric scooter is anticipated to have a larger battery pack with a greater range. That being said, it might not be as performance-focused as the 450X or 450 Apex.
Ather Rizta expected price in India
After launch, we anticipate that Ather would charge between Rs. 1.25 lakh and Rs. 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Rizta electric scooter.
