Bajaj Pulsar NS400: The much-anticipated Bajaj Pulsar NS400 is finally set to appear within the next two months, as per the most recent reports. In an interview with a TV station, Bajaj Auto Managing Director Rajiv Bajaj stated that the company will introduce their “biggest Pulsar yet” at the beginning of FY25, which is probably going to happen in April or May of 2024.
Bajaj Pulsar NS400 details
Though official information is still pending, there are rumours that the Bajaj Pulsar NS400 may take design inspiration from the most recent iteration of the NS200. The redesigned, muscular front fascia with a full-LED headlight that replaces the conventional halogen bulb may be the most noticeable difference. There’s a chance that the distinctive Z-shaped LED DRLs will remain, which would add some flair. It’s anticipated that the NS200’s powerful attitude would persist, but in a larger avatar.
Expected powertrain details
The engine that powers the Dominar 400, the current generation KTM 390 Adventure, and the RC 390 is anticipated to be the same 373.3 cc single-cylinder engine that powers the Pulsar 400. What tune the motor arrives in on the Pulsar will have to wait and be observed. The engine produces 39.42 horsepower and 35 Nm with the Dominar 400 tune, compared to 43 bhp and 37 Nm for the KTMs.
Expected price in India
Bajaj’s flagship product, the Dominar 400, presently retails for about Rs 2.30 lakh (ex-showroom). We anticipate that Bajaj will price the NS400 lower. Being the most economical sub-400cc motorbike on the market, the Bajaj NS400 is expected to retail for between Rs 2-2.2 lakh (ex-showroom).
