Bajaj Auto is preparing for a revolution in the two-wheeler sector. Bajaj intends to launch the country’s first CNG motorcycle on June 18, 2024. This innovative product will change the travel experience for riders on a tight budget by providing a more economical and eco-friendly way to travel. While the official name of this first CNG motorcycle is yet to be revealed, Bajaj recently trademarked “Bruzer” which could be the chosen name.
CNG for Commutes
This new Bajaj motorbike, which is anticipated to have an engine ranging from 100 to 125cc, is designed to be a commuting bike. The motorcycles’ bigger fuel tank, which was noticed during testing, suggested that they could have a dual fuel system that could run on both petrol and CNG.
Focus on Safety
The test motorcycles also included disc brakes in the front and drum brakes at the back, telescopic front forks and a monoshock rear suspension. To comply with safety requirements, single-channel ABS or combi-braking might be included in the final version.
