BGauss B8 EV scooty: The BGauss A2 and B8 electric scooters went on sale in July, 2020. Lead acid, lithium ion, and LI technology are the three available variations of the B8. RR Global, an electrical conglomerate with headquarters in Mumbai, owns the sub-brand BGauss. In early July 2020, it debuted its line of electric scooters.

BGauss B8 EV scooty: Price
The base lead-acid model of the BGauss B8 is priced at Rs 62999. The cost of the mid-spec lithium-ion battery type is Rs 82999, and the cost of the LI technology is Rs 88999, both ex-showroom. The most advanced version, with a variety of clever features, is LI technology.

The IoT-enabled (Internet of Things) navigation aid, ride metrics, remote diagnostics, battery health and charging condition, live tracking, geo-fencing, and full charge alert are just a few of the tech-savvy features that the BGauss B8 LI technological variant is packed with. The anti-theft alarm, anti-theft motor locking, centralised seat lock, USB charging, reverse assistance, and side-stand sensor are additional noteworthy features in the base lead-acid and mid-spec lithium-Ion battery variants. The three riding modes on the scooters are low, mid, and high.
BGauss B8 Motor
A 1900W BrushLess DC (BLDC) hub motor powers the BGauss B8 and all of its variations. In the base model, it is wired to a 60V fixed lead-acid battery. A 57.6V replaceable lithium-ion battery pack is included with the midrange and top-end models. Regardless, the top speed is set at 50kmph for all models. For an 80% charge, the lead-acid battery needs about 5–6 hours, and for a full charge, it needs about 7-8 hours. The lithium-ion battery pack, on the other hand, requires three hours to fully charge and two hours to achieve 80% capacity.
