Free Euro Match 2024 Ticket to Lucky Customers
Last month, BYD teamed up with the UEFA European Football Championship 2024 as an official E-Mobility Partner. This is a reason why BYD is offering a UEFA Match ticket and a round-trip flight ticket to Indian customers who book BYD Seal before April 30, 2024.
BYD Seal Design
The BYD seal derives some of its design elements from the Ocean X Concept, thus it has some “Ocean Aesthetics” in its design. The premium electric Sedan boasts LED headlights, full-length connected LED tail lamps and boomerang-shaped LED daytime running lights.
The electric sedan gets a fixed glass roof and flush-fitted door handles as a part of its exteriors. The BYD Seal EV measures 4800 mm in length, 1460mm in height and 1875 in width.
BYD Seal Features
The key features of the BYD Seal include a large 10.25-inch digital display unit and a 15.6-inch rotatable touchscreen infotainment system. Other features include a heated windscreen, climate control, central AC vents with a drive selector, audio system volume controls, and two wireless charging pads.
With an extensive list of safety features, BYD Seal is coming to India with a 5-star Rating from Euro NCAP. The electric Sedan will be loaded with Advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS) including adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, collision avoidance help, autonomous emergency braking, lane support and speed detection systems.
BYD Seal Powertrain
The new BYD Seal will be available in India with a rear-wheel drive system and an 82.5 kWh battery pack. Using the WLTP cycle, Seal EV is claimed to have a 570 km driving range. Additionally, it has a permanent magnet synchronous motor with 360 Nm of torque and 230 horsepower mounted on the back axle. Apart from this, the acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is 5.9 seconds. It takes 8.6 hours to fully charge the new BYD Seal using a standard 11 kW AC charger. However, it can also be charged with a 150 kW charger, which takes 37 minutes to fully charge from 10 to 80 per cent.
