3 Upcoming SUVs that will be entering the Indian Market this year
Kia Clavis
In December 2024, the compact SUV Kia Clavis is scheduled to make its Indian debut. There will be three different engine options available for the Clavis: ICE, EV, and hybrid. Both a normally aspirated and a turbocharged engine could be available for the petrol variant. A 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox (DCT) are the available options for gearboxs. Launched later than the ICE variants, the Clavis EV will share the same platform.
Mahindra XUV300 Facelift
A compact SUV called the Mahindra XUV300 facelift is scheduled to debut in India in March 2024. The anticipated price range is Rs 9–15 lakh.
A bigger floating touchscreen infotainment system, a revised HVAC panel, a 360-degree camera, a wireless phone charger, and ventilated front seats are anticipated features of the 2024 model. The test mule is equipped with a conventional radio antenna, an LED high mount stop lamp, and a rear washer wiper. It is anticipated that the rear bumpers will also undergo modifications.
There will still be five seats available in the redesigned XUV300 facelift. It is in competition with the Hyundai Exter, Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport, Renault Kiger, Hyundai Bolero, and Mahindra Bolero Neo.
Toyota Taisor
In March 2024, the SUV known as the Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor is anticipated to make its Indian debut. It is anticipated to come with a price tag of Rs 12.00–16.00 lakh.
The Taisor has dimensions of 3995 mm x 1765 mm x 1550 mm, with a 2520 mm wheelbase, 190 mm ground clearance, and 308 L of trunk capacity. It features a 55 L CNG cylinder in addition to a 37 L petrol fuel tank.
The Taisor is based on the Maruti Fronx, but it might only come with a 1.2L petrol engine without the turbo boosterjet.
