Maruti Suzuki to make electric air copters soon?
Maruti is experimenting with the creation of electric air copters together with its parent firm Suzuki. These aerial vehicles, which can accommodate three people, including the pilot, will be larger than drones but smaller than conventional helicopters, according to a Times of India story.
The corporation wants to launch new mobility solutions, first in the US and Japan and then in India. These aerial taxis have the capacity to revolutionise the transportation industry. Maruti is thinking about local manufacturers to cut expenses in addition to targeting the Indian market for sales.
Expected launch timeline
The SkyDrive electric air drones are anticipated to make their debut at the 2025 Osaka Expo in Japan. With the ‘Make in India’ campaign, Maruti hopes to someday bring this technology to India. In order to find possible partners and clients, the organisation is now performing market research in India.
