Hero Vida V1 Plus: Hero Moto Corp has relaunched Vida V1 Plus which the brand earlier discontinued. The Vida V1 Plus comes with an affordable price tag of Rs. 1.15 lakh including a subsidy and a portable charger. This affordable price can be a big game-changer for the Hero Vida V1 Plus because most of its rivals like Ola S1 Air, S1 X+ and TVS iQube are priced much higher than its price point.
Hero discontinued making Vida V1 Plus and Vida V1 Pro was the only offering in the series. The relaunch of Vida V1 Plus can even attract more customers and fuel the EV transition in India. Hero has strategically priced this electric scooter to give V1 Plus an edge over its competitors.
Priced Much Affordable Than Vida V1 Pro
Hero has priced the Vida V1 Plus around Rs 30000 less than the top-spec Vida V1 Pro. Even customers from specific states and UTs can purchase Vida V1 Plus at a luring price point. In Delhi, the newly launched EV scooter can be purchased at an effective price of Rs 97800. Other non-Delhites can also take benefits offered by their state government over the already affordable ex-showroom price tag.
How Vida V1 Plus is Different From V1 Pro
Although, both Vida V1 Plus and Vida V1 Pro share most of their features from design to specs. If we dive into the details, Both EV scooters have the same seating ergonomics and other important parts. Another common feature in Vida V1 Plus and Vida V1 Pro is a 7-inch touchscreen dashboard. Even the top speed stays the same for both scooters.
The only major difference between the Vida V1 Plus and Vida V1 Pro is their varying battery size. Vida V1 gets a smaller 3.44 kWh battery when compared to Vida V1 Pro’s bigger 3.94 kWh battery. With the varying battery sizes, both scooter also outputs varying driving ranges which is 100 km for Vida V1 Plus and 110 km for Vida V1 Pro. Both EV scooters come equipped with the same 6 kW motor.
