Powertrain Details

The Hero Splendour Plus Xtec’s dependable 97.2cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine produces 8.02PS at 8000 rpm and 8.05Nm at 6000 rpm when coupled to a 4-speed gearbox.

The 102cc DTS-i single-cylinder air-cooled engine powers the Platina 100. When combined with a four-speed gearbox, it generates 8.3 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm and 7.9 PS at 7500 rpm. The motorbike has an 11-litre gasoline tank and a stated top speed of 90 kmph.

Features onboard

With its complete LCD instrument panel and LED DRL above the headlamp, the Hero Splendor Xtec edition can be easily identified from the standard model. The Hero Splendor Plus Xtec’s orange-backlit console tells you the mileage in real time in addition to the speed and fuel level. This console features the same alloy wheels, electronic starting, idle stop-start system (i3S), side stand engine cut-off, and Hero Splendor Plus Xtec engine cut-off features, plus Bluetooth to accept calls and react to SMS alerts.

An LED daytime running light (DRL) is mounted above the halogen headlight unit on the Platina 100. Halogen lighting is also used in the turn indicators and tail portion. Redesigned rearview mirrors and CBS as a standard safety feature are other features of the bike.

Price in India

In India, the Hero Splendor Plus XTEC is priced starting at Rs. 79,911.

The Bajaj Platina 100 is available in four distinct colour combinations: Black & Red, Black & Silver, Black & Gold, and Black & Blue. Each variant has the same price of Rs 67,808 (ex-showroom Delhi).
