Powertrain Details
The Honda Amaze’s sole 1.2-litre petrol engine generates 90 horsepower and 110 Nm. It can be connected to either a manual 5-speed gearbox or a CVT. The stated fuel efficiency for the petrol engine is 18.6 km/l (MT) and 18.3 km/l (CVT).
The Maruti Suzuki Dzire is currently only offered with a single 1.2-liter Dualjet 90PS petrol engine. It comes with either an AMT or a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Baleno Dualjet retains its start-stop function even though it is devoid of a mild hybrid system. For the subcompact sedan, a CNG kit with a 5-speed manual gearbox and a reduced power output of 77PS and 98.5Nm is also offered. Maruti states that the manual variant only manages 23.26 mpg, whilst the AMT variant claims to reach 24.12 mpg. The CNG kit is offered with a mileage of 31.12 km/kg.
Features Onboard
In addition to automated LED projector headlights, the Amaze boasts a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Paddle shifters (for CVT only) and cruise control are also included. Additional features that aid in passenger safety include ISOFIX child seat anchors, rear parking sensors, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and a rearview camera.
Along with cruise control, automatic LED headlights, and an infotainment system with a seven-inch touchscreen, the Dzire also features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also includes a push-button start/stop and rear vent automatic air conditioning system.

The starting price of the Honda Amaze is Rs 7.16 Lakh, while the top variant is Rs 9.92 Lakh.
Prices for the Maruti Dzire range from Rs 6.57 Lakh to Rs 9.39 Lakh for the top model.
