New Gen Ford EcoSport: According to recent reports, Ford may be thinking about making a comeback to the rapidly growing Indian car industry. Ford decided not to sell its Chennai facility to JSW Group just a few weeks ago.
Moreover, Ford India has just updated its employment postings. These indications clearly imply that Ford is about to start up again in India. It’s important to remember that the car manufacturer had already said it would exit the Indian market gradually in 2021.
Ford Coming Back to India
Unexpectedly, Ford India has applied for a new design patent, which is making waves in the automotive industry. There is conjecture that the leaked images, which suggest a sub-4-meter SUV, maybe the much-awaited next-generation EcoSport for the Indian market.
New Ford Sub 4 Metre SUV Leaked Images
The recently leaked spy shots indicate the possibility of the classic EcoSport making a comeback. The leaked image shows a sub-4-meter SUV with a front end that seems like it was captured in a spy photo from 2020. This project was previously believed to be handled by Ford and Mahindra together.
New Ford Subcompact SUV Design
Among the standout features of the new SUV design are the stylish LED lights that are subtly incorporated into the strong grille which follows current design trends. The lower bumper’s vertically stacked trio of LED lights accomplishes dual functions and visual effects, resulting in a striking front look. The addition of features like a silver chin, a curved bonnet, and a trapezoidal secondary air dam completes the sleek and contemporary look.
