Despite sharing the same powertrains as the XUV700, the new Scorpio-N’s petrol engine outpumps its older sister in terms of output. In the Scorpio-N, the 2.0-liter M-stallion turbo-petrol produces 200 horsepower; in the XUV700, however, it produces 197 horsepower, which is just shy of the 200 mark.

The top-tier SUV models come equipped with an 8-inch touch-screen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a 12-speaker Sony sound system, connected car technology, integrated Alexa, an electric sunroof, a power-adjustable driver seat, dual-zone air conditioning, full LED projector lamps, six airbags, 4Xplor terrain modes (the top-tier 4WD version), and a front camera.

Mahindra is providing five different petrol and diesel Scorpio-N variants. The fact that there are several engine and transmission combinations is the most amazing aspect of this. All other versions receive the choice of both 4WD and AT choices, with the exception of the standard Z2 variant.
