Mahindra XUV 3X0 VS Kia Seltos: Mahindra is all set to launch the all-new XUV 3X0 very soon in the Indian market. The car has been teased several times now and is expected to be very well accepted by the people once released. Powertrain Details
The 1.5-litre diesel, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, and 1.2-litre direct injection turbo-petrol (TGDi) engine options will still be offered for the Mahindra XUV 3XO. When the TGDi engine is installed, the biggest change will be the addition of a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox with Aisin sourcing. For the other two engine options, manual 6-speed and AMT transmissions will still be an option.
The facelifted Seltos come with three engine options: a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual or CVT, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine paired with a 6-speed torque converter automatic or an iMT. A 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with 160 PS and 253 Nm is included with the revamped Seltos. It is coupled to a 6-speed iMT gearbox by default, or a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox by choice.
Features Onboard
The inside of the XUV 3XO is reminiscent of the XUV400 Pro EV, which was released previously. Its dual-tone dashboard and glossy trim encircle the centre console. Just below the centre-mounted touchscreen infotainment system is a brand-new dual-zone automatic climate control module. The SUV will also include ventilated seats, a computerised instrument panel, and a panoramic sunroof.
The updated Seltos has a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, and two 10.25-inch screens. It also features an air purifier, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, mood lighting with LED sound, and a heads-up display.
Its safety package includes a 360-degree camera, six airbags, hill-assistance control (HAC), electronic stability control (ESC), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), which include adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and forward collision warning.
Price in India
The ex-showroom pricing of the Mahindra XUV 3X0 might range from Rs 8.3 lakh to Rs 16 lakh.
The Seltos is priced between Rs 10.90 lakh and Rs 20.30 lakh.
