Mahindra XUV 400 to launch soon in the Indian market, to be the fastest EV in the segment, all we know

Mahindra XUV 400: The new XUV400 Electric SUV will shortly be introduced by Mahindra & Mahindra in the Indian market. The media trial run has already begun. In the weeks to come, it is anticipated that the booking minimum and price for this electric automobile will be made public.

Initial distribution of the Mahindra XUV400 will take place in 16 cities. The Mahindra Electric SUV will be offered in three variations: Base, EP, and EL, according to the leaked blueprints. A 39.5kWh battery pack made of the most recent Li-ion cells will power it. This configuration produces 310Nm of peak torque and 148bhp of power.

Mahindra XUV 400 Range and Charging

According to the manufacturer, the XUV400 is the fastest vehicle in its class. It just needs 8.3 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph. Its electronic speed limit is 150 km/h at the same time. On a single full charge, this SUV has a 456-kilometre range. It will therefore be the category’s longest-range EV.

Tata Nexon EV Max, a vehicle that competes with Mahindra XUV400, boasts a stated range of 437 kilometres on a single charge. With a 40.5kWh battery, this electric SUV from Tata will have a maximum electric motor torque of 250Nm and 143bhp.

There are three ways to charge the XUV400. There will be a 3.3kW/16A home charger, a 7.2kW/32A charger, and a DC rapid charging option available among these. With a typical home charger, the battery pack needs 13 hours to charge from empty to 80 per cent. At the same time, a DC fast charger may fully charge it in just 50 minutes. In addition, the 7.2kW charger can finish charging the battery pack full in 6 hours and 30 minutes.

Three drive modes, Fun, Fast, and Fearless, will be available on the new Mahindra XUV400 Electric SUV. A segment initial single pedal called “Lively Mode” will also be available. The next model is 4200mm long, 1821mm wide, and has a 2600mm wheelbase. The SUV’s standard boot capacity is 378 litres, however, it can be increased to 418 litres.
