Maruti Suzuki Fronx: The best-selling brand-new car in FY24 was the Fronx. It has recorded sales of 122,204 units between April and February of this year. 11,109 units went out on a monthly average.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx surpassed 1 Lakh unit mark in 10 months

The Fronx SUV has sold more than a lakh units across the nation. This accomplishment was made within ten months of the introduction in April 2023.

There are two petrol engine options for the small SUV. The 1.2-litre K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine produces 113 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm and 89 horsepower at 6,000 rpm. There is an AMT and a five-speed manual available for this engine. In contrast, the 1.0-litre K-Series turbocharged petrol engine generates 147.6Nm of torque between 2,000 and 4,500 rpm and 99 horsepower at 5,500 rpm. There are two gearbox options for this engine: a five-speed manual and a six-speed automatic.

A 1.2-liter Dual-Jet Dual-VVT petrol engine with 77.5PS of maximum power and 98.5Nm of peak torque coupled with a 5-speed MT is also available as a CNG alternative.

The Fronx’s interior features include a dual-tone theme, a nine-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a heads-up display, a three-spoke steering wheel with a flat bottom, and more than forty clever connected car features.
The Fronx is equipped with six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP with rollover mitigation and hill hold aid, braking assist, and ISOFIX for safety.

Price in India

Prices for the Fronx range from Rs 7.52 lakh to Rs 13.04 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
