A 1.2-liter turbo-petrol 3-cylinder engine with 120 PS and 170 Nm powers the sportier Altroz variant. The engine is borrowed from the Nexon. Only a 6-speed manual gearbox is attached to the unit.

Facelifted features of the Hyundai i20 include LED headlamps, inverted L-shaped LED DRLs, redesigned front and rear bumpers, a new grille and a 3D Hyundai logo on the bonnet. However it also features a new 16-inch alloy wheels, a flat-bottom steering wheel, BlueLink connectivity, OTA updates, leatherette seats, and a seven-speaker Bose music system. On the other hand, the Altroz Racer has an 8-speaker sound system, a 7-inch completely digital driver’s display, ambient lighting, a sunroof, an auto AC wireless phone charger, cruise control, and a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with linked car tech. It also comes with air purification and ventilated front seats.
