Oben Electric Rorr Bike: Bengaluru-based company after getting state and federal government subsidies, Oben Electric introduced its flagship Oben Rorr electric motorcycle in India at a starting price of Rs. 99999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). The pre-orders for the Oben Rorr electric motorcycle are now being accepted for a nominal fee of Rs. 999.
Bengaluru is home to Oben Electric’s manufacturing facility
Oben Electric earlier used to only sell the Oben Rorr electric motorcycle in Bengaluru, and the deliveries have benn started from May 2022. In Q2 2022, the corporation intends to expand into seven additional states. The manufacturing plant for Oben Electric in Bengaluru, which will soon be operational, has a projected annual production capacity of 3 lakh units.
With a neo-classical design, the Oben Rorr electric motorcycle accelerates from 0 to 40 kilometres per hour in 3 seconds and has a top speed of 100 kilometres per hour.

The 4.4kWh fixed battery pack requires around 2 hours to fully charge, and it takes about 200 miles to reach the next charging station. Although there are few details about the variations, we do know that there will be three colour options for the Oben Rorr electric motorcycle.
Oben Rorr electric motorcycle connects to an app which stores general information
An app that connects to the Oben Rorr electric motorcycle and stores data on the powertrain, battery, controller, and motor is also available. Its connected features include on-demand service, roadside assistance, geo-fencing, geotagging, battery theft protection, ride information, maintenance update, and battery condition.
Through a strong dealership network in the aforementioned areas, Oben Electric predicts consistent sales in Q2. The business will also adhere to the hub-and-spoke model for making spare parts timely available, along with doorstep servicing, with a focus on customer satisfaction and after-sales support.
