Range Rover Velar: Range Rover Velar costs have been lowered by Rs 6.40 lakh by Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), making it available for Rs 87.90 lakh, ex-showroom. There is only one trim level for the two engine options offered by the Velar. Thus, Velar’s price for both petrol and diesel is Rs 87.90 lakh. In July of last year, JLR released the Velar, priced ex-showroom at Rs 94.30 lakh.
Range Rover Velar powertrain details
There are two engine options available for the Range Rover Velar: a 2.0-litre petrol engine that generates 250 horsepower and 365 Nm, or a 2.0-litre diesel engine that, when combined with a mild hybrid system, provides 204 horsepower and 430 Nm. Both engines come with all-wheel drive and an 8-speed automated gearbox. The diesel-powered Velar can reach 100 km/h in 8.3 seconds, compared to the petrol-powered Velar’s 7.5 seconds.
Features onboard
Along with a 12-speaker Meridian audio system, an Advance Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite, an electric air suspension system, a 360-degree camera, and an 11.4-inch curved touchscreen, the Range Rover SUV is loaded with features. The Velar has a fixed panoramic roof, LED headlights, flat door handles, and a concealed tailpipe for better aerodynamics.
