Skoda Kushaq Explorer Concept unveiled in India, All you need to know about this beast

Skoda Kushaq Explorer: Skoda, a Czech automaker, recently revealed its future plans for India, confirming the introduction of a new sub-4m SUV here in 2025. During the same event, the carmaker unveiled the Kushaq Explorer, a rugged special edition of the Skoda Kushaq. Along with a new matte-finish green exterior colour, this special edition of the Skoda SUV comes with all-terrain tyres. Design details

The modified concept has several cosmetic changes based on the Kushaq Design. These include silver skid plates, black body cladding, and an orange-hued matte green appearance. The SUV also sports ORVMs, a blacked-out front grille, black alloy wheels and functioning roof rails with an LED light bar.

Powertrain details

The 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, TSI petrol engine under the Skoda Kushaq Explorer’s hood will provide 250Nm of torque and 148bhp. Six-speed manual and seven-speed DSG transmissions are possible choices. Currently, the stated mileage for these models is 18.60 and 18.86 kph, respectively.

Features Onboard

Also, the dashboard panel, centre console area, and door pads inside are painted in a matte green colour that creates a two-tone interior design. Black upholstery with red contrast piping is applied to the seats.
All of the features from the Style trim are carried over, including the sunroof, digital dials, 10.25 touchscreen, ventilated seats, and more. An enhanced back camera, front parking sensors, rear sunshades, a head-up display, and an air purifier are among the new features of the Explorer Edition.
