A 72v lithium-Ion battery is anticipated to be included in the next Tata Nano. 160 kilometres of range should be possible from the battery on a single charge. It has a ten-second 0-60 kph time. Notably, the four-seater car’s gasoline variant was cancelled in 2018 due to weak demand.

It was the cheapest car in the world when it was introduced in 2008, costing Rs 1 lakh. A number of factors prevented the corporation from launching 2,50,000 units annually as it had originally intended.
