Toyota Taisor: Toyota is preparing to enter the competitive market segment with the Taisor, which will be unveiled in India on April 3, 2024. Joining Toyota’s lineup of rebadged models, the Taisor is effectively a rebadged Maruti Suzuki Fronx. Other rebadged models include the Rumion, Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and Glanza, which are based on the Maruti Baleno and Ertiga, respectively. In this article, we will share all we know about the upcoming car.
Toyota Taisor expected powertrain details
A 1.2L K-series Dual Jet Dual VVT petrol engine that powers the small SUV coupe may be available with a five-speed manual transmission as standard, or a five-speed automatic transmission as an option. Furthermore, there are rumours that the powertrain lineup may possibly include the 1.0L three-cylinder turbocharged BoosterJet petrol engine. The engine will probably be coupled to a five-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox with paddle shifters. The powertrain can generate 99 horsepower and 148 Nm of torque.
