MG Comet: The MG Comet EV portfolio was recently revised by MG Motor India, with a focus on faster charging times. In response to the needs of contemporary EV owners who seek efficiency and convenience, this update adds two new top-spec trims with rapid charging abilities.
MG Comet gets two new variants with fast-charging abilities
Fast charging abilities is a much-needed feature that MG has added to the Comet. They go by the names Excite FC and Exclusive FC and are distributed throughout the variant range. MG no longer uses the terms Push, Play, and Pace; instead, Executive, Excite, and Exclusive are used instead.
The Comet’s 7 hours and 5 hours of charging time should now just take 2 hours thanks to the fast charging option. But MG hasn’t yet disclosed all the information on the quick charging choices. The Comet EV is powered by a 17.3kWh battery that powers an electric motor located on the rear axle that produces a peak torque of 110 Nm and 41 horsepower. The Comet EV is built on the modular GSEV (Global Smart Electric Vehicle) architecture.
