Volvo XC40 Recharge: Swedish car manufacturer, Volvo has launched an all-new variant of its all-electric SUV in India. The newly launched variant is the Volvo E60, essentially a single-motor variant of the XC40 Recharge. The all-new Volvo E60 comes with a price tag of Rs. 54.95 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The new single-motor variant sits below the dual-motor AWD XC40 Recharge E80 Ultimate variant priced at Rs. 57.9 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
Volvo XC40 Recharge E60 Features
Although, the cost-cutting measures are apparent in the newly launched all-electric SUV. The new XC40 Recharge E60 comes with an 8-speaker audio system, a 9-inch infotainment screen, a 12-inch driver’s display, a 19-inch alloy wheel, and a panoramic sunroof. Additionally, the SUV gets TPMS, park assist, two-zone climate control, electrically powered front seats and wireless charging among others.
The single-motor variant gets some of Volvo’s signature safety features which include 7 airbags and ADAS tech. This ADAS suite offers features such as adaptive cruise control, rear collision warning, traffic control and adaptive cruise control.
Volvo XC40 Recharge E60: Power
The Volvo XC40 Recharge E60 gets a battery pack of 69kWh paired with a single motor positioned on the rear axle. This configuration allows the electric SUV to churn out a maximum power of 238 bhp and a peak torque of 420 Nm. The E60 can accelerate from 0 to 100 in just 7.3 seconds and it can cruise with a top speed of 180 kph.
