Citroen eC3 Shine EV Car: The venerable French carmaker Citroen has been making waves in the EV industry with its Citroen eC3 model. The eC3, the only EV offered by Citroen in India, has drawn notice because to its excellent features and environmentally efficient operation. The business, meanwhile, isn’t happy to stop there. Citroen has just introduced a brand-new top-spec trim for the eC3 in Indonesia, fittingly dubbed the “Shine,” which is meant to take the driving experience to entirely new levels.

The Citroen eC3 Shine’s drivetrain hasn’t altered, despite the inclusion of these alluring features. The front wheels are still driven by a single electric motor that is combined with a 29.2 kWh battery pack to power the vehicle. The power and torque output of this Permanent Magnet Synchronous (PMS) motor are decent at 57 bhp and 143 Nm, respectively.
Checkout the features
The 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is already available in India with the Citroen eC3 Feel variant with the Vibe Pack. The new Shine trim, on the other hand, kicks things up a step by offering a variety of improvements that greatly improve the whole ownership experience.
The electrically adjustable Outside Rear View Mirrors (ORVMs) and a manually dimmable Inside Rear View Mirror (IRVM) are two of the Shine trim’s most notable features. Although the ORVMs do not automatically fold, these modifications improve comfort and flexibility for the driver. The installation of a rear defogger, rear washer, and rear wiper improves safety as well.
Know about the price and launch in India
Although Citroen India has not yet made an announcement about the eC3 Shine trim’s arrival in India, it may happen soon—possibly around the holiday season. Due to the inclusion of additional features, pricing would likely increase by roughly Rs 50k over the present top model. Currently, the ex-showroom price for the Citroen eC3 is between Rs 11.5 lakh and Rs 12.68 lakh.
