Diesel Car Ban: According to reports, diesel engine cars will be banned by 2027 in India. There will be a complete ban on diesel four-wheelers by this above-mentioned year.
As soon as this update came, many people or car owners were left in a state of confusion. And this move will include SUV cars manufactured by renowned car companies like Toyota, Mahindra, etc.
There has been constituted a panel by the Ministry Of Petroleum And Natural Gas to put a complete ban on diesel cars. In addition, the Petroleum secretary of the Energy Transition Advisory Committee (ETAC), Tarun Kapoor, suggested promoting the use of metros, electric cars, buses, and trains.
As soon as the news of the ban on Diesel cars went viral, several rumors with regard to this spread online. Afterward, the Ministry of Petroleum tweeted to give clarity on this matter. To control carbon emissions, the panel constituted gave a proposal to the government. However, the matter is still under consideration.
These days, people make investments in the selling and buying of diesel cars. And the government has made it legal to use diesel engine cars in the country.
