The Nightshift is one example of a band that draws influence from cafe racers. It has flat handlebars, bar-end mirrors, and spoked wheels. Some components, such as the small front fender, lack of rear fender, side number plates, black finishes for the aluminium aesthetic accents, and compact LED turn signals, are borrowed from the Full Throttle edition. Ducati accomplished this by adopting a brand-new, lighter-than-before bolt-on sub-frame. The engine itself has also undergone revisions and now includes some new parts. It is still an air-oil cooled, two valve, 803 cc Desmoduo engine, though. It generates 65 Nm at 7,000 rpm and 73 horsepower at 8,250 rpm. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
