After then, the watch can be used with its unique account and phone number. Your family member can remain connected even when your iPhone is far away thanks to the provider’s cellular service, which enables you to link their watch to the network using their own mobile service plan. Be aware that certain functionalities of the Apple Watch cannot be used on an Apple Watch paired with Family Setup; these features require the associated iPhone.
