Honor 80 GT and V8 Pro: On December 26, the arrival of the Honor 80 GT was confirmed, and a tablet is also anticipated. Both devices were displayed in full size on the Weibo business page today, and the company confirmed that the name will be Honor V8 Pro, precisely as the rumours had claimed.
The smartphone’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and the presence of a specialised display chip for enabling a very fast but effective refresh rate were both revealed as part of a gaming event in China.
Hono 80 GT and V8 Pro
After the Magic Vs foldable, which was released earlier this year, the Honor 80 GT will be the company’s second model to use a Qualcomm chipset.
Images show that the phone will have a flat OLED display on the front, along with a small punch hole for a single selfie camera. Rumour has it that Honor is getting ready to introduce the 80 GT at a price that will make it very appealing to mobile gamers.
We don’t know much about the tablet, though. The tablet will likely accommodate a cover keyboard and the already-known stylus because we can see three pogo pins on the rear.
Six days remain until the launch’s official launch, and similar teases should reveal more. We currently only have an approximate release date for the Magic Vs, and we can only hope that the Honor 80 GT will also be available outside of China.
