Many websites these days prevent you from checking their data unless you register using your phone number or email address. This is why everyone uses their email address, as providing your phone number to a website is never a smart idea. What happens if they start sending you unsolicited notifications or use your email address for other purposes? So how are you going to get rid of it? There is a solution to this for all of you, who want to get rid of it. We have information below that could assist you in logging out of an undesired website where you may have accidentally or purposely logged in but never logged out.
Here are the steps that you should follow to remove your email address
- First you should go to www.gmail.com, the Gmail website, and sign in using the account you wish to have deleted from any linked websites.
- On the Gmail page, click on your initial or profile image in the upper-right area. The dropdown menu will look like this: “Manage your Google Account.” This will redirect you to the settings page for your Google Account.
- Choose the “Security” tab located on the left-hand sidebar of the Google Account settings page.
- Navigate to the “Third-party apps with account access” area by scrolling down. Select the option to “Manage third-party access.” This is a list of all the websites, services, and apps that can access your Gmail account.
If you wish to stop having access to any app or service, go through the list and select the desired one. Additionally, you may locate particular apps or services by using the search box at the top. After choosing an application or service, click the “Revoke Access” or “Remove Access” button that appears next to it. If prompted, confirm the action.
