Redmi 12 5G: Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi released the Redmi 12 4G with the Helio G88 SoC last month, and the company is anticipated to release a 5G version soon. While Xiaomi has not revealed anything about the Redmi 12 5G, a device with model code 23076RN4BI, thought to be the 12 5G, has appeared on Geekbench with its essential specifications.

Since the phone’s style is identical and it has a 50MP primary camera, the teasers posted by the Chinese company suggest that it will be a 4G version. It will be interesting to see if there are more variations between the two versions of the device if it is the 5G variant rather than just the chipset.

The 6.79-inch FHD+ IPS LCD screen on the 12 5G has flat borders, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a punch-hole cutout for the front camera. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen2 processor and Adreno GPU power the Redmi Note 12R. The device comes with 256GB of extendable storage and up to 8GB of RAM. The Redmi phone comes pre-installed with MIUI 14, a custom skin based on Android 13. A 50MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary sensor will be included in the Redmi smartphone. A 5MP camera on the phone may be used for selfies and video calls.
