Samsung Galaxy S23: According to a senior company official, Samsung received orders for approximately 1.4 lakh units of its premium smartphone Galaxy S23 worth a total of Rs. 1,400 crore on the first day of pre-booking for the device.
Raju Pullan, Senior Vice President for Mobile Business at Samsung India, told PTI that pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S23 have nearly doubled compared to the previous version of the smartphone Galaxy S22.

Samsung will continue pre-booking for Samsung Galaxy S23
Samsung will accept pre-orders for the Galaxy S23 until February 23. In India, the Galaxy S23 series will be priced between Rs. 75,000 and Rs. 1.55 lakh per unit.
The Galaxy S23 will be manufactured at Samsung’s Noida plant, according to the company. The older Galaxy S Series smartphones were made in Samsung’s Vietnam factory and imported for sale in India.
Benefits on Pre-order
Pullan stated that consumers have responded positively to the S23 propositions, such as the phone’s camera sensors, the high power Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC made exclusively for Samsung, and the sustainability factors of using recycled plastic and other components in the device.
For customers who pre-order the high-end Galaxy S23 Ultra, Samsung has reduced the price of the Galaxy Watch 4 LTE and Galaxy Buds 2 by approximately 90%, from Rs. 48,000 to Rs. 4,999.
