Samsung Galaxy S24 series: With Samsung’s foldables out of the way, the forthcoming Galaxy S24 lineup leaks will most certainly escalate. Today’s rumour concerns a design modification to the Galaxy S24 and S24+. According to Ice Universe, a reliable Samsung insider, Samsung will likely flatten the side frame to match the appearance of the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5. The Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ now feature flat backs with a slightly bulging central frame, but that is set to change.
Samsung Galaxy S24 series: Expected specifications
The next Galaxy S24 range is expected to include Samsung Display’s newest innovation, the M13 13th generation AMOLED display. This panel has a smaller profile, as well as improvements in power efficiency and image quality. The basic Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ versions are expected to include an LTPO display with a variable refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz, leading to increased battery efficiency. These variants are expected to have 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, with the Galaxy S24+ perhaps having a slightly bigger battery.
Know about the series
Perhaps the decision is affected by external sources, considering that design trends in recent years have shifted towards flat design and sharp edges. Or Samsung believes that this will improve the design of the Galaxy S24 regardless of trends.
In any case, the article makes no mention of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, implying that, like with previous Galaxy S lines, the Ultra will go a separate road. Samsung normally distinguishes the Ultra model with a slightly revised design to make it more easily identifiable.
