This cutting-edge concept device, which features a design that enables the display to fluidly shift from a compact 6.55 inches to a more roomy 7.11 inches, sets the stage for the future of rollable smartphones.

The display’s flawless transition from a 6.55-inch compact size to a 7.11-inch expansive size takes only 1.2 to 1.3 seconds, which is very fast. A covert button on the device’s upper right side can be used to activate this. When pressed, this button causes the smartphone to extend horizontally; when it is folded up, it functions like a typical 6.55-inch smartphone. The rollable smartphone has a 2,296 × 1,596 pixel resolution and a 388 PPI pixel density. Although the claim of 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage is significant, validating such numbers for a concept product is still a difficult undertaking.
