Let’s start by looking at the layout. A 6.67″ OLED screen with a resolution of 1080×2400 (FHD+), a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a peak brightness of 1200 cd/m2, and a contrast ratio of 4500000:1 is included in the base Note 12 5G model. This has an astounding 84.5% useable area and is protected by a casing made of plastic and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The Pro 5G, on the other hand, sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1080×2400 (FHD+), 120 Hz refresh rate, 500 cd/m2 peak brightness, and a contrast ratio of 5000000:1. The frame has an amazing 86.3% useable surface and is made of plastic and Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Both variants come with side-mounted fingerprint scanners and dual speakers for increased security.
Cameras and connectivity
On the back of each model are three cameras: a 48MP Standard lens, an 8MP Wide Angle lens, and a 2MP Macro lens. The Note 12 Pro 5G has a 16MP selfie camera, compared to a 13MP one on the Note 12 5G. The Pro’s camera also has a 119° ultra-wide angle lens, OIS, and 4K video. Both phones support dual SIM, NFC, an audio jack, and Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 axe) in terms of connectivity. The Note 12 5G standard has GPS (L1+L5). Both versions also feature infrared. Finally, both smartphones have 5000mAh batteries and support rapid charging at 33W and 67W, respectively.
