The phone is also eligible for up to Rs 6,000 off on exchange of any Pixel device and other select smartphone models, or Rs 2,000 off on exchange of any other smartphone, in addition to the instant discount of Rs 4,000 on Axis Bank cards and EMI transactions. Additionally, the phone has a free Google One and YouTube Premium three-month trial.
Regarding the technical details, the Google Tensor chip, which was the company’s first chip design, is paired with the Titan M2 chip for security to power the Pixel 6a. It has a dual 12-megapixel camera system on the back, wide and ultra-wide sensors, and Google computational imaging. In addition, new tools and features have been introduced, including Night Sight for improved low-light photography, Magic Eraser in Google Photos to remove distractions, and Real Tone to accurately depict all skin tones.

Recorder, Live Caption, and Live Translate are a few of the speech recognition functions included with the Pixel 6a. Along with the most recent Google features and improvements, it will receive security updates for five years. The Pixel 6a will also get the impending Android 13 update among the first Android devices.
The Pixel 6a sacrifices features that are expected of a mid-range smartphone, such as a screen with a high refresh rate and expandable storage, but it still comes off as a solid package with a positive user experience. Although the price-to-specs ratio of the smartphone is not very favourable, this does not affect the device’s performance. The phone is a full package from an experience standpoint, offering something for everyone.
